About us

Spin Terms UK is an independent desk that reads bonus rulebooks for a living. We are not an operator, we sell no gambling and we have no account for anyone to open. What we publish are clauses and figures that any reader can look up for themselves.

Where our numbers come from

Four documents, in this order: the bonus terms and conditions, the promotions page as it stood on the day, the bonus store, and the cashier table. A promotional banner is never a source. Where a clause number exists we quote it, because a cap written in clause 1.8 is checkable and a cap written in a headline is not. Every reading carries the date it was made; bonus terms change without notice and a figure from last season is not a figure from today.

What we do when a site cannot be read

Some operators refuse connections from where we work, and one brand in our listing publishes nothing we can reach. When that happens we say so on the page and mark the figure as coming from a published review rather than from the operator. We never present second-hand numbers as a first-hand reading.

What we will not write

  • that an offer is «free money»: every spin here carries wagering, a cap and an expiry;
  • that a brand is safe because it is popular, or a scam because a forum says so;
  • that an offshore brand is a substitute for a licensed one — none of the sites we describe holds a Gambling Commission licence, they sit outside GamStop and outside the UK complaints route, and we repeat that on every page;
  • anything aimed at under-18s. Gambling is for adults and can be addictive.

How the site is funded

Some links on this site are affiliate links and may earn a commission when a reader opens an account. That does not move a number. An unflattering figure — a £50 ceiling, a £50 withdrawal floor, a missing licence — stays in the table, because a table that hides them stops being worth reading the first time someone checks.
